Winter Break/December Life Update

Winter break is FINALLY here, and I couldn’t be more ready. Not gonna lie y’all, the past few months of school have been rough. I’m so glad to be done!

It’s Tristan and my first Christmas together, and I’m excited to finally be able to start celebrating! First things first, we’re hopping on a plane to Florida!! We’ll be leaving tomorrow and staying down there for 3 solid weeks. It’s okay that I haven’t even started packing yet, right?? Also, it’s my first time on an airplane EVER so that’s cool. I’ll be doing lots of airport updates on my insta story tomorrow, so make sure to head over there!

Not only does this next week hold our very first Christmas together, but Friday is also our 4 month wedding anniversary! It’s crazy to think that we’ve already been married for 4 months! Getting married in college is absolutely crazy and the days seem to just fly by, but I wouldn’t want to be doing my last year of school any other way.

Speaking of school, I’m going to be taking a bit of a step back from school next semester to spend more time focusing on my health, and so I will no longer be an on-campus student. We suspect that all the harsh antibiotics I was on to treat Lyme’s disease the past few year’s have caused Leaky Gut, as well as a lot of other health issues. In January I will be starting a bone broth diet. The diet is a 21 day process, and after it is finished I will be eating a completely organic, grain-free and sugar free diet for an additional 4-6 months. The world of natural medicine and holistic health is extremely new to me right now, but I’m determined to learn! I’ll be sharing everything I learn here on the blog, so hopefully it will help you guys out as well. Elimination diets and clean eating may seem overwhelming at first, but the key is finding good resources and taking it all one step at a time.

That’s it for now, but there will be lot’s more coming these next few weeks and months. I can’t wait to share it all with you! Make sure to hit the subscribe button at the end of this post if you haven’t already, so that you can get weekly blog roundup emails.
